New Basketball Victoria registration platform - PlayHQ.

What you need to know

E.Bees registrations for Winter 2020 are now open.  However, this season's registrations will be different to those in the past.
This season will see a transition to the PlayHQ registration system which Nunawading Basketball has introduced under Basketball Victoria.  There will be several changes to registration as the system has been developed by Basketball Victoria.

1.    Parents will be asked to create a PlayHQ account, under which they will then register all players.

2.    If players play Saturday (GEBC) and mid-week (WNJ or FNJ) separate registrations will need to be completed (links below).
3.    There is currently no mechanism to order uniforms within the registration process – a seperate online system will be announced soon.
4.    Because of changes in privacy legislation, club administrators cannot update any player information.  If contact details need to be updated, a parent must complete this online.
5.  Players wishing to compete over several age groups ie play more than one game on a Saturday or Mid-Week should note that only 1 registration per competition can be completed within the new sytem.  Please contact the Registrar directly if you wish to play twice on a Saturday or you have a daughter who will play U12/14 and U16 or U16 and U18/23.

New Fee Structure

There will be two registration fees as part of the new process.

  1.  Basketball Victoria licence:  All players will pay a 365-day Basketball Victoria participant licence (affiliation) which covers anyone wanting to participate in a Basketball Victoria sanctioned competition, allowing a participant to play as many times as they like within 365 days across any affiliated association in Victoria. Basketball Victoria provides a base level of insurance to all registered participants of affiliated associations and clubs.  Junior fee is $25.

  2. E.Bees registration fee: this registration fee remains unchanged from Winter 19/20.  Registration remains at $110 per player per competition.

We will endeavour to keep you as up to date as possible.  We would ask that you register as soon as possible and the Registrar if you have any questions as we learn this new system and adapt it to our Club processes.
